Well, first off I think that the colors are amazing, it's the thing that grabbed my attention. The beautiful golds and smokey greens remind me of my summer home, Montana. (So thank you for the nice feeling it gives me.) The detail in the background floors me, the time given is obvious and stunningly great. The pines look very real, like I could walk into the forest and feel the bark, and actually touch the trees. The cloudy sky looks great, but the clouds are a little too defined for a sunset (or sunrise). I would suggest blurring them a little, but other than that, I find the clouds gorgeous. Next up, the mountains. They look magestic and glowing, although like the clouds they are a little too defined for a background, they clash a little with the blurry forms of everything else. (They still look great though!) The eagle looks strong and natural, the feathers look stiff and prime. The shading looks stunning and defines the eagle wonderfully against the background.the talons look sharp, like I could prick my finger on them! Over all, this is a great piece, and I look forward to seeing what else you create!
